5.  IMU has six campuses spread across India, one each at Chennai, Kolkata, Visakhapatnam, Kochi and two at Mumbai.

It is our pleasure to inform you that IMU is offering direct admissions to foreign nationals from AY 2025-26 in Non-DGS UG programmes and PG programmes as part of internationalisation of higher education to foster the development of global citizens through student and scholar mobility. International students can now get admission through:

1. Direct Admission scheme for Foreign Nationals by IMU (on IMU portal).

2. DASA Scheme of Ministry of Education

2. Direct Admission scheme for Foreign Nationals by IMU. Any foreign national studying in India or abroad or an Indian Citizen who has completed his 11th or 12th grades/undergraduate studies from an institution abroad may take admissions in Indian Maritime University. The details can be viewed from the portal for direct admissions to foreign nationals. The link is available on IMU website under "Admissions".

3. Dasa Scheme of Ministry of Education

1. Foreign Nationals/ Persons of India Origin/Non-resident Indians/ Overseas Citizen of India to Under Graduate/ Post Graduate programmes can also seek admission through Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) scheme of Ministry of Education, Government of India, by logging on to dasanit.org
