CIRCULAR

Subject : Observance of Swachhata Pakhwada – 2023 (1 – 15 January 2023) – ACTION PLAN

Reference circular of even number dated 02 December 2022 on the above subject (copy enclosed).

2. As in previous years, Ministry is required to communicate the Swachhata Pakhwada plans of Ministry of External Affairs to Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, Ministry of Jal Shakti and upload it on the Swachhata Samiksha portal in advance.

3. Ministry has finalized an indicative Action Plan that is required to be carried out in all offices of the Ministry in India and abroad. All Divisions at Hqrs./ Missions & Posts abroad / RPOs /POEs /Branch Secretariats and MEA Residential complexes are requested to undertake Swachhata Pakhwada (01-15 January 2023) as per the Ministry’s action plan in addition to other activities which are required to keep the office(s) and its surroundings neat and clean. Ministry’s Action Plan for Swachhaa Pakhwada is attached herewith.

4. As already conveyed, MEA’s inputs are required to be uploaded on daily basis at the Swachhata Samiksha portal. It is, therefore, requested few photographs in high resolution undertaken by your office(s) as per Ministry’s Action Plan may please be shared with the Establishment Division (aoem@mea.gov.in) on daily basis.

5. Indian Missions/Posts and MEA offices in India are requested to make utmost efforts to make this year’s Swachhata Pakhwada a resounding success.
