Viksit Bharat Run, 2026
High Commission of India and Wellington Indian Association warmly invite you all to the Viksit Bharat Run, 2026. This 3 km community run celebrates India’s development journey, the strong India-New Zealand partnership and to honour the vibrant Indian community's role in New Zealand’s growth.

Location: Bharat Bhawan, Kemp Street, Wellington

Tree Plantation Drive (Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam)

Viksit Bharat Run (3 km Marathon)
Route: Bharat Bhawan → Evans Bay Parade → Great Harbour Way → Evans Bay Beach → Bharat Bhawan
Participation Benefits:

Fun-filled community run (non-competitive, no rankings );
Important Guidelines:
Mandatory registration (prior registration only)
Participants are encouraged to wear the event T-shirt
Children must be accompanied by an adult
Organizers may adjust the program if weather conditions require.
