Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF 2018) 28 January – 3 February 2018
The 15th edition of the Mumbai International Film Festival (MIFF 2018) is scheduled to be held from 28 January – 3 February 2018 in Mumbai. MIFF is a biennial documentary, short fiction and animation film festival organised by the Films Division, under the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India.


  • Documentary films, short fiction (up to 45 min) and animation films  produced between 1 Sep 2015 – 31 Aug 2017 are eligible for entry.
  • Last date for submission is 15 November 2017.

The 3rd Edition of CAPINDIA 2018, a trade and networking event for the Chemicals, Plastics, Construction, Mining Industry and Allied Products will be held from 22-24 March 2018 at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. The event is being organised under the aegis of the Department of Commerce, Government of India in collaboration with The Plastics Export Promotion Council (PLEXCONCIL), Basic Chemicals, Cosmetics and Dyes Export Promotion Council (CHEMEXCIL), Chemicals & Allied Products Export Promotion Council (CAPEXIL) and Shellac and Forest Products Export Promotion Council (SHEFEXIL).Over400 leading and prominent buyers from across the globe are expected to attend the event. -Airfares will be provided/ reimbursed as per the following:

  • Latin America + Central America + USA + Canada: Maximum Reimbursement of USD 1000 or Air Ticket Amount, whichever is lower.
  • Africa + Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS)/ ASEAN + Australia & New Zealand + Middle East + European Union + Rest of the world: Maximum Reimbursement up to ofUSD 650 or the air ticket amount, whichever is lower.
  • SAARC: Maximum Reimbursement up to of USD 450 or the air ticket amount, whichever is lower.
  • It is mandatory for all the foreign delegates to attend the inaugural function of CAPINDIA-2018 and Buyer Seller meet.
  • Selection of buyers will be subject to approvalof special selection committee

Applications received on or after 16th December, 2017 will only be given hotel accommodation during the event. (Subject to selection by competent authorities of the council)

The Ministry of MSME is planning to organise the second edition of International SME Convention 2019 to be held in New Delhi from 27th - 29th June, 2019 in association with Italy & South Korea as the partner countries, UNIDO, UNDP & ILO as Institutional partners and the India SME Forum. The convention is planned as a platform for intensive business discussions and interactions on the Indian Market opportunity, between progressive entrepreneurs from all over the world and aims to foster business partnerships and trade opportunities for India's small and medium enterprises. The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) is the apex body of trade sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India to promote exports of the gems and Jewellery from India. Being one of India's leading foreign exchange earners and one of the fastest growing sectors accounting for 11.99 % of India’s total merchandise exports during FY 2018-19, the industry has registered a remarkable growth over the last four decades, with exports from US$ 28 million in the 1966-67 when the GJEPC was established to US$39.68 billion in FY 2018-19(p).

Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), Government of India is organising the second edition of "World Food India" from 1st to 4th November, 2019 at New Delhi to promote India as emerging Hub for Food Processing Sector with a focus on attracting investment and promoting exports. The first edition of World Food India was organized from 3rd to 5th November, 2017 at New Delhi.
