The 552nd Parkash Diwas - Birthday of Guru Nanak Dev Ji was celebrated in front of New Zealand Parliament by Ekta New Zealand Inc & Wellington Interfaith Community & other religious organizations by offering prayers by all religious priests. Volunteers from many community organisations also came forward to participate in the celebration. India in New Zealand (High Commission of India, Wellington) also participated & had the honour of serving the public with langar (community meals). Representatives of High Commissions, Wellington City Council and Ministry for Ethnic Communities were also present.
